Professor Andrea Ruzzenente is Full Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Surgical Unit at the University of Verona. His clinical work focuses on general and hepatobiliary surgery, with extensive experience in open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures. He holds a PhD in Surgical Sciences and has completed advanced training programs in Italy and across Europe and Japan. Professor Ruzzenente has authored over 330 peer-reviewed articles and is involved in several international research collaborations. He is a member of various scientific societies and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. His academic and clinical activities mainly focus on liver surgery and oncological research.
