Dr. Xiaoyang Liu is an abdominal radiologist at UHN Joint Department of Medical Imaging and Assistant Professor at University of Toronto. She received her MD-PhD degree at McGill University, Diagnostic Radiology residency training at University of Toronto, and Abdominal and Intervention fellowship at Harvard Medical School Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Her clinical and research interests include cancer genomics, radiomics, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, hepatobiliary and gynecological imaging, with first author publications in journals such as Nature, American Journal of Roentgenology and Radiographics. She served as associated editor for Radiology: Imaging Cancer and i Frontiers in Urology. She has won numerous research awards such as the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Research Scholar Award and RSNA Roentgen Research Award.
