Dr Julian Choi graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He undertook his HPB fellowship training at the Alfred hospital (Melbourne), the Royal Northshore Hospital (Sydney) and the Asan Medical centre (Seoul). He has been working as a HPB surgeon at Western Health and Epworth Hospital, Melbourne since 2010. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne and is the Australian PI for NeoFOL-R trial. His current research interests include ctDNA in management of PDAC.
